Brad Edwards
Music and Masculinity
First, Brad is a husband who adores his incredible wife. He is also a former Army MP turned student at Covenant Seminary and a Chaplain Candidate (Chaplain-in-training) for the Missouri National Guard. He loves hanging out with people who really really don’t like church. Having grown up very far from anything Christian, he is obsessed with cultural engagement (particularly music), masculinity, leadership, and church planting.

Chris Gensheer
Chris Gensheer is a husband, father, friend, son, student, music lover, wanna-be comedian and all around general connoisseur of all things culture. He is a student at CTS and hopes to one day plant a church that engages and works for the good of the city, not just itself. He has spent most of his time living in Georgia, but has a strong affinity for the rest of the world (especially Croatia, where his wife was born and raised). Instead of a bookshelf, he has a “guilt-shelf”, because every time he glances over at it, he feels guilty for all the books that are residing there, yet have not been read.

Jared Lee
Jared is the father of two and by his own admission a terrible husband and father. Every day his wife and kids teach him what a moron he is. He hopes to slowly overcome this jerkiness and plant a church in a part of America where people don’t like the church in general. A professional web designer and internet consultant he combines his love for technology with his love for culture and for the church. His primary interests are in showing both Christians and non-Christians that the mission of Christ was about a whole lot more than just “saving souls.”

Jennifer Loughary
Women’s Issues and Relationships
Jennifer is studying Educational Ministries at Covenant this year and is working towards her Masters degree. She loves to watch people grow in knowledge of and love for Jesus. She currently works full-time at a restaurant and spends most of the day thinking about how to see God in the little things like a smile, a conversation, and sometimes a beautiful plate of dessert! Her posts will likely welcome you in and invite you to take a seat and stay for awhile.

Josh Mugg
Philosophy and Theology
Josh is a student at Missouri Baptist University, majoring in Religious Studies. He is planning on graduating a year ahead of schedule to begin working towards his Ph.D. Right now, his top choice is Notre Dame, but a lot can happen in the next year. Long term, he aspires to teach religious studies (of some specialization) in a public university. His friends (at least the ones on here) often describe him as a “walking brain.”

Jim
Managing Editor
Jim is a former journalist turned seminary student with a future in some sort of pastoral ministry. He is also an intern at a local church in St. Louis. His passion is to see Christians seek Jesus with renewed humility, fervor and wisdom in all walks of life. Jim becomes annoyed with unnecessary Christian infighting and philosophical arguments within the faith that have little to no connection to real people’s everyday struggles. One of his favorite quotes is from St. Augustine: “I believe in order to know.”

Mike Tolliver
YouTube and Theology
Mike is an Audio/Visual guru who also contributes through the medium of YouTube. He is creating a series of videos as a foundation for cultural engagement, as well as entering into a very interesting discussion with atheists, agnostics, and the unchurched, where he will hope to “speak the truth in love” by answering a variety of very challenging and legitimate questions about the Christian faith. More to come on his profile and where you can go to find his videos (which will also be hosted on this blog).
